Klarna replaces SOFORT - payment via instant bank transfer still possible

The payment service "SOFORT", which previously enabled payments via instant bank transfer, will unfortunately be discontinued at the end of September 2024 or integrated into the functionality of the provider Klarna.

For our customers who have previously paid via SOFORT, only the path through the individual payment steps will change, which we briefly explain here:

In the checkout step, please select "Pay with Klarna".

If you have never been paid with Klarna before, you may need to verify your identity using your mobile phone number/email address.

In the next step, please select "Pay Now." Don't be confused by the credit card logos.

Now select "Instant Transfer" and you will receive a summary of the data you have entered.

In the next step, you select your bank - just like you did with SOFORT - enter your bank ID and you can initiate the payment.
